More Fiber Crafts from the CA State Fair

I took quite a few photos of pieces that caught my eye at the 2019 California State Fair Fiber Crafts and Handcrafts competitions. This post is mostly knitting content and I'll have at least one more blog post with crochet, weaving, spinning, and other sights from the fair.

Before I turn this over to the images, congratulations are in order for a knitter that I've never met. For years, I've seen an exhibitor's name associated with one exquisite lace piece after another. This year was no exception and I was happy to see that Julie Powers won two major awards--Best of Show, Needle and Fiber Art and Best of Division, Knitting. Beautiful work Julie, congratulations!!
