Out with the old, in with the new (Part 1)
Our backyard has gone through a few changes this month.

Now you see it

Now you don't
The tree guys arrived mid-morning and went straight to work.

And so it begins

Piece by piece

Canopy gone

All gone
The next day they came back with the stump grinder and annihilated the tree stump and the jade plant roots. R fixed the sprinkler line that was damaged in the process and this weekend we brought home two new trees from Los Altos Nursery, a Bartlett Pear and a 4-in-1 Cherry: Rainier, Bing, Stella, Black Tartarian.

That's a good idea to have fruit trees. My husband has been wanting a pear tree for a while.
