Wind and rain outside, cookies and coffee inside. Inside wins.

Oatmeal Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

The recipe is from Quaker Oats: Chewy Choc-Oat-Chip Cookies. I substitute dried cranberries for raisins.

The tomato seedlings are doing well. It's been 2 weeks and you can see the second set of leaves emerging.

That sounds great - coffee & yummy cookies in winter.

I put my seeds into dirt on Jan 28 and they are sprouting up nicely. No tomatoes yet, I'm still working spring crops - chard, kohlrabi, spinach & arugula. The chard & kohlrabi seeds were from your seed saver people!

Nice! It sounds like you're going to have a bumper crop again. We may
have more tomato seedlings than we can use--I'll have to see how many
survive from now until they are put in the ground outside.
