It's called Double Trouble and there's a link to the pattern in the "What's Going On?" section on the right hand side of this blog.
I used a crochet provisional cast-on, and am knitting the cuff in a k3p1 rib. The cuff will be finished with a few rows of k1p1 rib, tubular knitting, and a tubular cast-off.
Those are some crazy lookin' socks. I'm failing miserably in the Sockalong - but now that I have one major thing behind me... I have something else causing me major stresssssss... But I think I'll get some knittin' in sometime between now and xmas... sorry I wasn't there today - the day was a blur of errands and returning stuff and running around going from house to house and calls and ... I really should be sleeping right now!

What toe-up pattern are you using? I'm getting ready to start a pair for my husband and think I want to try toe-up rather than cuff-down.

No problem! Perfectly understandable that you had other things to do. Love the picture on your blog.
