I'm pleased that this piece received recognition because I'm sure the competition in this class was quite high... and thankfully the judge didn't see the mistake I found while I was blocking it. :)

Like last year, I don't understand how level of difficulty is measured, but 2nd place is nothing to shake a knitting needle at. California is a big state!

Your crocheting technique is good. Sometimes a lighter-weight thread helps to create an even prettier design.

Wonderful bag! Level of difficulty lowered your score--otherwise your attention to detail and finishing were great. Very nicely done!
