Pinning and making

I've been spending a lot of time on Pinterest, pinning photos of food that looks delicious.

The first recipe I tried was Thumbprint cookies. It's a good recipe for showcasing homemade jam.

Here's another recipe I pinned, Chocolate Stout Cupcakes. It's the recipe from Chaos in the Kitchen, doubled. I filled the cups pretty full so I got 22 cupcakes instead of 24 and they baked for 17 minutes.


Naked Chocolate Stout Cupcakes

The cake is really good, not too sweet and not too dense. I topped them off with a whipped ganache with a hint of espresso. I'll make these again.
