What's a Bogie? Bogie is my Green Cheeked Amazon. He and I have been together for a long time--almost 20 years! I don't know how old he was when I got him, but he wasn't a baby so that probably makes him at least 21 or 22 years old.
Everyone always asks if he talks. He laughs and chuckles, and tries to talk. You know when you're at your friends' house and their toddler talks and you can't make out a word but the parents understand everything the kid says? It's like Bogie's my toddler--I can understand when he says "Hello", but everyone else hears gibberish.
Maybe he'll be up for a photo later today.
