Sweaters & Socks in July
The Cabled Cardigan has been swatched and is ready to be cast-on.
Here's a good one--
I'm checking the gauge in the pattern and it says 24st/27rows per 4" over Chart E starting on row 15. Okay, so I find Chart E row 15, and wouldn't you know it, the pattern begins to decrease after only 8 rows. Great. I'm supposed to check a gauge against a pattern that decreases?
Poorly written patterns irk me.
So, I swatched the cables before the decrease and repeated them until I had enough to measure:
Sunday will be sock day if the Elann order arrives in time, so the WIP list will continue to grow.

No problem on the sock yarn - I stopped by the knitting room and bought two #2 circs to start when we're ready - I like that the Knitting Room allows you to return needles if they're not right for your project!! I cast on for the wrap sweater with the cotton angora, and yes, it definitely sheds. I'll also bring my FO sweater to show off proudly! See you tomorrow!
