Answering the call
Yes, I answered Elann's call last week and this is what came in the mail yesterday:
16 wonderful skeins of Schoeller Stahl Morea in Vintage Orchid.
Round 1 of swatch washing for VĂ©ronik Avery's Zig Zag begins.

Washing? Will all swatches now be washed, thanks to the treachery of the VK Cardi? Zig zag looks great, and the blushy-pink color is lovely as well.

It's the once bitten twice shy syndrome with swatches. Not to mention, the Zig Zag pattern explicitly says,
"Be sure to wash and block your swatch as the tension can change afterwards. Since this particular blend did spread and lengthen after blocking, the pattern calls for measurements before blocking: refer to the schematic for final measurements."
How do you like that? a mixture of before and after blocking measurements in the pattern. This should be fun.
