The CTH yarn is finer gauge than what's called for in the pattern, so I'm going to add 4 sts to each pattern repeat to get the right circumference.

You're right the broadripple does look much better. I've done this patter a couple of times and I really like the resulting socks.

Nice! The lace yarnovers give a little separation to color areas, making the different colors visible. Down with seaweed! Up with lace socks!
