CA State Fair 2012 - Part 6, Farm Animals and a Golden Bear
The California State Fair is over, but I still have photos to show you. (Just a few, I promise.)
What would a state fair be without animals? UC Davis had an exhibit of cows, goats, and pigs who were ready to deliver, or who had just delivered. I must say, those pregnant cows looked extremely uncomfortable.
All of these babies were just a few days old.

We also visited the exhibit halls where the cows and goats were on display. Hey, this guy's sportin' a goatee.
A real goatee
We saw 4-H competitors and their goats being judged.
Goat showing
Here's Lisa and her grandson checking out a cow whose markings looked like a map.
Cartographic cow
One more thing I like about the fair is the mascot, the Golden Bear. That's right, Go Bears! Go Cal!
