Isn't Photoshop cool? Not that I know how to use its many features, but playing around with the levels and the contrast can transform the Leaf Lace Shawl into the ocean.

Why thank you Bill! I used the macro setting on the camera, and the light source is a window just past the "horizon". I was going for a shot that showed the color gradient, but the results were much better than expected.

I tried to take a similar photo of my afghan but yours is much better. Ended up posting a simple overview.
