2006-07: Fair Isle socks
Pattern: Stitch pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks. Gusset, heel sole, and heel counter from Judy Gibson's You're Putting Me On socks.
Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino, Spanish Moss & Nero
Needles: Foot: 2.5mm Addi Turbo circulars, cuff: 3.0mm Addi Turbo circulars
Techniques: magic loop, toe-up, round toe, eye of partridge heel, tubular cast off
These beauties have been done for almost a week, but work has kept me too busy to post.
Thanks to my fiber friends at SnB who convinced me not to rip these out when I was oh-so-frustrated. Now I have a pair of Fair Isle socks. Pretty neat!
Check out the heel & gusset.
Not bad for toe-up, huh?
