Corn!
This just in from Crystal Palace Yarns:
Maizy
Colorway = Antique
82% corn fiber, 18% elastic nylon
7-8 sts/inch
0-1.5 US Needles
204 yds/50 gr
The texture and plying of the yarn resembles Panda Cotton and it's nice and soft. I'll be swatching a toe-up sock design with this yarn soon.

I will, of course, be very interested to see the socks you make from this!

Corn? Corn?! That is incredible. I can't wait to see what this is like! What will they think of next?

Cool! I've seen corn-based roving, but not a commercially produced yarn with corn content. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Wow, I'm intrigued. Did you have that at Bobaknit today? Did I miss it?
