Thursday's show is a free, family-friendly (as family-friendly as rock and roll can be) show in St. James Park in San Jose. The opening act starts at 5:30PM, with The Tubes taking the stage around 7:00PM.

Saturday night is a 21 or over event at The Independent in San Francisco, so the gloves will definitely be off for that show. The opening act is a talented group of players including Bill Walker on keys. Yes, that's right, Spinnity's Bill Walker. It should be a fun night!

  • Okay, I can't believe I am reading this at 9:45 on the 14th! Oh well, wasn't a good night for me to go out anyway... I will have to think about Saturday though. Maybe my husband would enjoy it.

  • I'm sorry you missed the show, it was a lot of fun. The staff said there were ~5000 people there. Wow.

Maybe I'll see you on Saturday!

  • Hey, Bogie. Just want to reply to your comment on my blog.

The instruction for the toe-up from Stitch Stud isn't freely available. It's a small booklet that he wrote up for the sock class he teaches. I "won" in from commenting in one of his podcast episode.

Maybe you could write to him and ask about it...although he's in the process of re-writing it at the moment, since there are some mistakes in the instruction.
