Lace border + first repeat
Here's the beginnings of the Ivy Leaf Lace shawl.
The border is called Versailles and it's also from Barbara Walker's, A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns. It's the first lace pattern that I've knitted that's worked on right side AND the wrong side. Man, what a pain. I'd say, "I'll never do that again" but of course that wouldn't be true since it needs to border both ends of the shawl.
Time for another lifeline.

Wow, the border came out great. I definitely like that one over the celtic-knot-looking one.

Beautiful! What's the verdict on the yarn so far? I looked at the tencel from Webs site - what a bargain!

That is so beautiful. The patterns shows up so well with that yarn also.
